Although it's square, I still want the passionate relationship with the loyalty , in my case I don't think it's work against eachother at all. Doux RêveIt doesn't have to be a square, actually square signs at least have the same modality so they share some similar characteristics.More like inconjuncts cause they're totally different.Frustrating.Ceridwenincompatible signs are those with a different polarity and different elements. These correlate with aspect-relationships between signs of:squarequinkunxsemisquareSo for Sagittarius that would be:Virgo and PiscesTaurus and CancerCapricorn and SCorpio(Earth and water as you can see)Incompatible does not really need to mean that these will never ever succeed in a relationship with each other (if we are talking about synastry), it means thought that they speak fundamentally different "languages".Especially, fire and earth, and water and air are VERY different, though this of course can be a cause of tremendous fascination.Fire and water, though different, still hae something in common, as Ras pointed out, their orientations is an emotional one, feelings and intuition matters, and they are interested in what *could* be (at least I think water signs might be interested in that as well).Earth and Air, as different they are, are more matter-of-factly, concerned with reality and what *is*, though Airsigns are more interestem in the concepts and abstracts and UNDERSTANDING of reality, while Earth signs are more pragmatic, and want to WORK with what is.At least that is how I see it.I have read a few books by Karen Hamaker-Zondag and I think, like Liz Greene, she is very influenced by the Jungian psychological approach in how the various elements organize the world surrounding them.So I guess I am pretty much influenced by this.
